The Communication & Learning Clinic, LLC provides speech-language therapy for children and adults. We are an independent private practice located on the Southwest side of Ft. Wayne, Indiana providing treatment programs for children and adults. We offer a family-friendly environment with quality services for a wide range of communication disorders and neurologically based learning disabilities.
Founded in 2000 by certified speech-language pathologist Cynthia J. Gerard, MA, CCC-SLP. the Communication & Learning Clinic, LLC is the outgrowth of parents requesting private therapy as well as referrals from other specialists in the state of Indiana.
Certified Speech-Language Pathologists
Our speech-language pathologists are required to complete many hours of continuing education in the areas of neurological, developmental and educational treatment. Because we have one foot in the medical field and one foot in education, we can get to the heart of the problem and provide a solution. Parents want their children to talk and they want their children to learn. That's what we do best.

Registered Speech-Language Pathology Aides
Our aides are trained in the specific speech therapy techniques they will use with their clients. They are supervised by a master's level, certified SLP. Their training and supervision plans have been registered with and approved by the Indiana Board of Examiners for Speech-Language Pathology and Audiology.
Linda Hartmann
Linda's interest in helping children with learning disabilities has grown out of homeschooling her grandson who had a neurologically-based learning disability and a communication disorder. She took it upon herself to get training in the internationally-recognized training programs we use in the clinic that help children like her grandson learn to read and think. Her passion is helping children succeed at things they thought they couldn't do.
